My Weight Loss Journey - its happening!

My first entries in this blog were in 2007! The years add up! At that time, I was 90kg=198lb. I have kept that weight for years, till Feb 2014 when I have started road cycling.

I have done
  • 41 rides since then
  • 47h 46m of riding
  • 1,249.7 km (776 miles)
  • 12,705 m (41683 ft) elevation gain
according to Strava


Now I am 82.7kg 182lb, a fantastic improvement.


Cycling is certainly a fantastic way of losing weight. I have been active in swimming, and lost nothing, done lots of press-ups, and lost nothing. This cycling is certainly getting it happening. Yesterday it was 60km (37miles) for just over 2hrs and today will be another of about the same. I wont get to do any more till next weekend. But even this amount is helping out. Quite amazing.
